Executive Summary
GCC Aggregate Bonds and Sukuk Market includes GCC Central Banks Local Issuances in addition to GCC Sovereign and Corporate Issuances. (Please refer to detailed definition at the beginning of this report). A total of USD94.79 billion was raised in the GCC Aggregate Bonds and Sukuk market during H1 2019, a decline of 0.47% over USD95.25 billion raised in H1 2018. A total of USD29.77 billion was raised by the GCC Central Banks local issuances (CBLI) whereas USD65.03 billion was raised by GCC sovereign and corporate issuances.
