Education is crucial for the diversification and development of Saudi Arabia. The increasing preference for the private sector and the emergence of Edtech are transforming the industry. However, low gross enrolment rates at pre-primary and tertiary levels, quality of programs and curricula designed for public institutions are few challenges the industry is likely to undergo. We expect the region to witness fast reforms to improve the quality of education and increase the supply of educational institutions to match the growing demand.
